Use Canned Responses

Are you using Engagor for webcare, or do you often find yourself replying with similar messages? Then you can improve your social workflow by using canned responses. These templates for replies or posts save you valuable time. Just tell the publisher to “Save the message to re-use later”, and the next time you’re replying you can select the template and your reply will be pre-filled.

Scheduling your posts

If you’re wondering what the best time to post a new Tweet or Facebook message is, you could try your Fingerspitzengefühl, or believe an article you read somewhere. But the good thing about Engagor is you can actually find out when people are talking about your own industry, products or competitors. You can then use this information to decide when it’s best to post new messages on your Facebook or Twitter accounts. Via the Engagor Publisher you can even schedule these messages when you’ve got the time, and we’ll post them to your social profiles when the time is right.

This query is sent to our crawler that constantly searches the social web to find mentions on blogs, news sites, forums and social networks.

Apart from keyword searches you can also couple specific sources to your Engagor topics. This includes a.o. Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, LinkedIn groups, custom sources (via RSS) and, more recently Foursquare venues.

A good set-up of a topic is vital to get good results out of Engagor, so we constantly need to focus on making a powerful, but easy, interface for this.
In the last days we’ve focused on streamlining the process of adding social accounts. We’ve made it easier to couple both your own social network accounts as well as to search for and add public accounts by competitors or people in your industry you’d like to start monitoring, giving you suggestions along the way.

In your Engagor settings, when creating or editing a keyword query for a topic you will now find a simple query builder that still fits 90% of our current use cases, to easily define the different terms you’d like to search for.

More advanced usage has been improved by helping with checking the quality of the query, to quickly identify errors in queries.

Once you’re happy with the topic set-up, it’s all up to us to monitor the internet and give you detailed statistics and tools to engage with the social web.

With a little help of our friends at Omgili (short for Oh My God I Love It! → and we do!), Engagor now processes over 6 million new Forum Posts on a daily basis. In the unlikely case that a certain forum would not be crawled automatically, you can add it to the index.

For every new forum post, we search the post itself, the topic title and the forum title. You can easily follow the conversation of the different forum posts from within Engagor.
